Work out how many boxes fit on a pallet in seconds. PalletBrain finds the best arrangement for UK, Euro and US pallets, with a live 3D preview, multi-pallet loads, freight density and team sharing built in.
Built for logistics teams, warehouse managers, and anyone who needs to pack more boxes into fewer pallets.
Three intelligent packing modes — Max Fill, Stability, and Fast — automatically find the optimal arrangement for your boxes.
See exactly how your boxes will be arranged on the pallet with an interactive 3D view you can rotate, zoom and inspect.
Save your box types once and reuse them across calculations. Bulk import from Excel or CSV to get set up in seconds.
Save your full pallet setup — dimensions, box selection, packing mode — and reload it with one click.
Work in centimetres or inches. Switch at any time — all dimensions convert automatically.
Share box libraries and configurations across your team. Everyone works from the same source of truth.
Get freight density (PCF) and an estimated NMFC freight class alongside every pallet, plus a warning if any box overhangs the base — so you can catch costly carrier re-rates before the shipment leaves your warehouse.
Keep boxes for the same order together, let boxes share layers or stack in their own, set weight and height limits, allow overhang, or keep fragile goods to a single layer.
Print a clear load plan for the warehouse floor, with pallet-by-pallet totals and box breakdowns, or export every box position to CSV for your other systems. Clean PDFs and CSV on Pro.
Enter your pallet dimensions or choose from standard presets — EUR, UK, US, CHEP. Set max height and weight limits.
Enter box dimensions and quantities manually, pick from your saved library, or bulk import from a spreadsheet.
Hit Calculate and instantly see the optimal layout in 3D. Navigate between pallets, check fill efficiency and export results.
The packing engine only places a box where at least 70% of its base is supported, so your plan can actually be built, not just filled on paper.
Pick a pallet, add your boxes, press Calculate. Rotate the 3D view, check fill and weight, then export a PDF for the warehouse floor.
UK, Euro and US 48 × 40 pallets, centimetres or inches, kilograms or pounds, plus freight density (PCF) and estimated NMFC class for US LTL.
Encrypted connections, payments handled by Stripe, no ads or tracking cookies, and we never sell your data. Your teams only see what they share.
From food and beverage to automotive, PalletBrain adapts to your workflow.
Plan outbound pallets for finished goods. Reduce wasted space and shipping costs.
Optimise mixed-SKU pallets for store deliveries and fulfilment centres.
Handle complex multi-client pallet builds with group constraints and mix rules. Estimated freight class and PCF density help avoid costly carrier re-rates.
Keep fragile goods safe with stability-first packing, single-layer options and heavy boxes kept low.
Plan pallets within the weight and height limits you set, with every box properly supported.
Handle heavy irregular parts with custom pallet sizes and overhang rules.
It depends on the box size, the pallet size, the maximum load height and the weight limit. PalletBrain tries the box in every orientation, works out how many fit per layer and how many layers fit under your height limit, and checks the weight, so you get the real number for your boxes in seconds, with a 3D view of the load.
Presets for the UK standard pallet (1200 × 1000 mm), the Euro pallet (1200 × 800 mm), the US GMA pallet (48 × 40 in) and the 1165 × 1165 mm pallet, plus any custom size you enter.
Yes. Switch between centimetres and kilograms or inches and pounds at any time. Existing values are converted for you and your choice is remembered.
For US LTL shipping, freight density is the weight in pounds divided by the volume in cubic feet (PCF), and it largely decides the NMFC freight class you are charged at. On Pro and Team plans, PalletBrain shows each pallet’s PCF and an estimated freight class, and warns you if any box overhangs the pallet. Final class also depends on the commodity, so treat it as an estimate.
Yes. Add as many box types as you need (Pro and Team), keep certain boxes together with groups, let boxes share layers with the mixable option, and choose Stability mode to keep heavy boxes low. Every box is only placed where it is properly supported.
There is a free plan with no time limit for calculations with up to two box types. Pro is £9, $10 or €10 a month (£90, $100 or €100 a year) for unlimited box types, saved boxes and setups, exports and freight density. Team is £7, $8 or €8 per seat a month with a shared box library. You can pay in pounds, US dollars or euros.
Yes. On the Team plan everyone works from the same shared box library and saved configurations, and the team admin can add or remove seats at any time.
